The UK-Brazil Sustainable Development Dialogue was formalised during the Brazilian State visit of 2006 by the signing of a joint statement. The UK-Brazil SDD integrates collaboration on climate change. The Dialogue is designed to strengthen ties in a broad range of policy areas and provide leadership on sustainable development:
