AQ 25(04)
Wood Coating, PG 6/33(04)
This note corrects an error in PG6/33(04) concerning the date by which certain SED installations should comply with the Reduction scheme. In Section 5, the date should be 31 October 2005, not 2007. The installations are those that are:
- SED installations,
- where no designated risk phrase materials are used and
- the Reduction Scheme or Compliant Coatings are the method of compliance and
- no VOC abatement equipment is used
The amended Paragraph 5.3 reads as follows (the two amendments are highlighted in bold):
5.3 For VOC:
New and substantially changed non SED installations, and by the 1 April 2007 existing non SED installations should apply the provisions of:
- Reduction Scheme or Compliant Coatings
Prior to 31 October 2005 existing SED installations should apply the provisions of:
- Reduction Scheme or Compliant Coatings
New and substantially changed SED installations, and by the 31 October 2005 existing SED installations should apply the provisions of:
- Reduction Scheme
A copy of this note is being sent to the relevant trade associations.
