ARCHIVE: Part C Notifications under Directive 2001/18 to market genetically modified organisms

The UK has the opportunity to comment on all applications to market GMOs throughout the EU.

The dossiers market genetically modified organisms that have been received by the UK regulatory authority for assessment. Members of the public may request copies of all or part of these dossiers by contacting Defra at gm-regulation@defra.gsi.gov.uk. Where the dossiers are particularly long, full copies including appendices will be available at cost. Dossiers may also be viewed by appointment with the GM Team in 9 Millbank, London SW1, e-mail as above.

You can also register for automatic notifications when new dossiers become available using the same e-mail address gm-regulation@defra.gsi.gov.uk, and including the words "Notification registration" in the subject/title.

Summary notifications (SNIFs) for all Part C notifications being processed under Directive 2001/18 can be viewed on the European Commission website at http://gmoinfo.jrc.it/.
