ARCHIVE: The Natural Environment Public Service Agreement (PSA)
Public Service Agreements set out the key priority outcomes the Government wants to achieve in a given spending period.
Defra leads on the delivery of PSA 28, under spending review period 2008 – 2011:
“To secure a diverse, healthy and resilient natural environment, which provides the basis for everyone’s well-being, health and prosperity now and in the future; and where the value of the services provided by the natural environment are reflected in decision-making.”
The PSA is underpinned by a delivery agreement which is shared across all the contributing delivery partners. It sets out the high-level plans for delivery of the PSA and the role of key delivery partners.
The delivery agreement also describes how the PSA is measured.
