- Promote race equality issues and awareness to policy developers to ensure issues are considered prior to policy development (Ongoing)
- Capture and analyse information gained from complaints, grievances, Employment Tribunals and exit interviews. (Ongoing)
- Engage with trades unions, BME staff in formulating policies (Ongoing)
Outcomes
Staff are not disadvantaged by any policy developed within the Defra network

- Race equality issues identified by EqIAs
- Information captured from complaints, grievances, Employment Tribunals and exit interviews
- Staff surveys in relation to levels of satisfaction
